Mental Health Awareness Month – “Mental Wellness: A Journey Towards a Happier You.”
The month of May is the Mental Health Awareness Month. Globally, this awareness month has been recognized since 1949.
At PCEA Anti Drugs Desk, we observe Mental Health Awareness Month in the following ways:
(1) By addressing the challenges facing persons living with mental health conditions.
(2) By eradicating stigma related to mental illness.
(3) By extending support to individuals and families affected by mental illness.
(4) By fostering public education on mental health.
(5) By advocating for policies that prioritize the well-being of individuals and families affected by mental illness.
