Office Of The Secretary General
The General Assembly appoints a Secretary General who is responsible for the administrative and day-to-day duties in the running of the Office of the General Assembly.
The Secretary General shall be the executive officer of the Church in ensuring that all Standing Committees of the General Assembly, as well as Presbyteries or regional councils, take necessary actions on the deliberations referred to them by the G.A, the G.A.C or the Business Committee.
The term of office for the Secretary General shall be for six years in the first instance, unless the General Assembly decides otherwise.

About The Secretary General
After serving in the legal profession for four years, Rev. Robert Waihenya responded to his long time calling into the Holy Ministry.
After training, he was ordained as a Minister with the Presbyterian church of East Africa (P.C.E.A.) in 2003.
He was licensed and ordained within Limuru Presbytery and served within the same presbytery for three years.
Later he was transferred to Ngong Presbytery where he became the Presbytery Clerk for a term of three years.
