About The Honorary Treasurer
Elder David Nderitu Ndumo was born in Nyeri in 1974 to Mr. George Ndumo and Mrs. Lucy Nyambura who later relocated to Laikipia Wiyumiririe Parish in 1984. He is married to Rose Nyawira and blessed with three Children; Elias, Faith, and Gabriel.
He holds a PhD in Finance from Dedan Kimathi University, an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Mount Kenya University, a degree in Business Management Accounting from Moi University, a Diploma in Human Resource Management from Kenya Institute of Management, and a CPA from Vision Institute of Professionals. Other areas of training include the Risk and Opportunities Management Course from Kenya Accreditation Service (KENAS), QMS Implementers course from Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS), QMS Internal Auditors Course from Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS).
His experience and expertise can be attributed to his previous work which has seen him work across different industries. His previous work has involved directing Business Development at Fincap Consulting Group, Chief Manager at NYEWASCO and Regional Accounting Manager at Internal Justice Mission. He has also worked as a Finance & Administration Manager at Muthoga Gaturu & Co Advocates, Compliance Officer at Safe Harbor International Relief, Internal Auditor at Faulu Kenya Limited and even once worked as a watchman at PCEA Wiyumiririe
Elder Nderitu’s motivation for working at the church is to make a difference in doing something about the state of the Church, especially in the areas where he is trained in. He has served in many capacities in the church from the local church to the General Assembly.
Mr Ndumo is a champion for education. He is the Chairperson of Ngobit Professionals. Chairperson, Mathenya Secondary School Board of Management, a board member at Mwihoko Secondary School and Kanjora Primary School.
He is very passionate about systems and structures. His hope for the future is to serve and transform PCEA Finance into a simple and efficient unit.
