PCEA Sacco opens new office
Today, PCEA Head Office came together in a celebratory service to mark the official opening of the new PCEA Sacco offices. The service was attended by General Assembly officials, including the Moderator, Rt. Rev. Thegu Mutahi, Deputy Secretary General Rev. John Mbae, and the Honorary Treasurer, Elder David Ndumo. Also present were members of the Sacco Board, regional agents, Head Office staff, invited guests, and the Very Rev. Dr. Jesse Kamau.
Delivering the sermon from 1 Corinthians 10:1-12, the Moderator emphasized the importance of remaining vigilant and being continually connected to the goodness of God. He congratulated PCEA Sacco on the significant milestone, commending the institution for setting an admirable pace both within the Church and among other Saccos nationally. He however, reminded that past achievements should not lead to contentment, but rather inspire them to aim higher and adapt to changing times.
The Moderator noted that PCEA Sacco has faithfully served the Church by guiding members toward sound investments and raising the bar for financial stewardship. He encouraged honesty and accountability, quoting the biblical principle that those who are faithful with little can be trusted with much. He also cautioned members against unstructured borrowing that does not promote meaningful and sustainable investment.
In his remarks, the Very Rev. Dr. Jesse Kamau observed that true wealth is reflected in who people are, what they possess, and how responsibly they manage and behave with the little they have.
The new Sacco offices are located within the newly completed business complex at the Head Office along Muhoho Avenue, South C.
