The GA Moderator And Secretary General Leads The Church In An Outreach Mission At Nkondi Mission Area
The Church concluded a successful mission outreach at Nkondi Mission Area in Tharaka Nithi County. This event kicked off on 27th June and ended 30th June 2024.
The mission is an annual activity spearheaded by the church’s National Mission and BSR department. It marks a time to spread the word of God with activities such as door to door evangelism, open air crusades, community service and giving.
On this mission, there were unique activities such as prison ministry at Marimanti, ministry to Boda Boda riders, seminars with various church groups, as well as sports evangelism including football, volleyball and pool table.
Among the highlights of the mission was the commissioning of a borehole on Friday 28th June by the Moderator of the 24th General Assembly, at Mariango. The Secretary General, Rev. Dr. Robert Waihenya was among the main preachers.
Others who participated in this mission included the Heads of Departments at the Head Office, Nyeri Presbytery, Bible Translation and Literacy and missioners across the church.
